May 22-June 4

{May 29- June 4}

This little munchkin (taken with Jakes phone) is very vocal.  Jake's calling is Gospel Doctrine Teacher, and he taught last Sunday. I was on the front row with this little thing and all she wanted to do was get daddy's attention. (Did I mention how much she loves her Dada?) she squealed, yelled, laughed and cooed to get his attention, any time he would look at her or in her direction she would squeal with excitement. She was very distracting during the lesson. She is quite the social bug.

Our  handsome little man
Macy is getting so big, she rolls and plays with toys and pivots in a circle while on her tummy. She is so much fun. She is always happy. She smiles and laughs all the time. We love this little chunky-monkey SO much!

 Friday night we took Maggie out to eat at her favorite restaurant. Jake and I both grew up with this tradition and we now do it with our kids. We were on our way to "RED ROBIN-YUM" (that is what Maggie calls it), we stopped at a red light and there to our right was "OLD-OINK-ONALDS" (McDonalds) and she insisted, I mean insisted on us going there instead. So we pulled in and got Happy Meals and let the kids play. She was in Heaven, until she had an accident and was put in time out the rest of the time but she happily watched Kaiden enjoy the play place. But she loved it anyway.

Saturday, June 4th was Maggie's long awaited 3rd birthday. We got up and got dressed and then she opened her gifts from us, and from all the grandparents and cousins. She loved everything! She was so excited and played all day with them--Kaiden loved it all too! After presents we took the kids to the Waffle House for breakfast, Maggie loves pancakes and waffles and I didn't want the mess. It was really fun and yummy. The rest of the day the kids played with all the new toys.

 Maggie got lots of make-up and nail polish, she calls it Pinkings (paintings) and spent the day painting Jakes toes and everything else. (I gave her the polish...so I was to blame!)

Not bad!  And Jake just thinks the polish has to chip off...he has no idea there is something that can take them off, now! ha ha! His toes look good green, even in sandals! :)
That evening we had a little birthday party with our friends at the park.  We had a great turn out and it was lots of fun. Maggie got lots of fun things.
It was quite comical to watch us walk 4 houses down to the park with all of our birthday decorations. People thought we must of been part of the circus. It was funny!
 At the party...
My dear friend Adria and her daughter Kylee with Macy. Age was so helpful in holding Macy the whole night.
 I didn't get many pictures of the party/set up because of course, I was running late. But I think you get the idea...

My long time friend Angela and her boys. We have been friends since we were 10.

Birthday girl!

Kaiden!

The very last kid to hit broke it, it was perfect!

I just can't imagine the last 3 years with out this little thing.
She keeps me laughing and makes life sweet.

Mags and Ky
 It was a wonderful day. Happy birthday baby girl!

{May 22-28}

I didn't post for last week, because, there wasn't much to post. It was a lazy week. We slept in and recovered from our California trip. We had NO WHERE TO BE! It was fantastic! On Friday, I got a babysitter and Jake and I went on a date, the first time since we have been here in AZ! It was wonderful! I surprised him and took him to a spa in Fountain Hills where we both got 60 minute facials, and 60 minute body massages. After we went to RA SUSHI for dinner, it's a fabulous sushi place here in AZ. It was such a wonderful night, and very needed.

Sunday is my cooking day, where I experiment with new recipes and bake. The kids love to help me bake. Maggie and Macy are helping make yummy Buttermilk Banana Bread.

 One morning I caught Kaid outside doing a chore....creative Kaid! Not quite sure what he thought he was doing, but hey, he did it without asking! :)
