We MOVED!

Wow! It's been a while since I have updated the family blog, and man alive, a lot has happened in the last 5 weeks. Here is a quick recap...

We enjoyed packages for Granny and Grandma for Easter.

We colored eggs, in between packing.

And we moved closer to this beautiful building! Yay for Temples. We need so badly another Temple in the East Valley. We have loved watching it being built and can't wait for the open house.
We moved to this cute home. We weren't planning on moving until the middle of May, but things worked out so fast that we literally moved in 9 days. This move was very needed and over due. We badly miss our wonderful ward and friends (luckily we are only 20 minutes away), and the running trail behind our house, but this was a very needed move for our little family.
We LOVE our home! It is twice the size of our last home and is in such an amazing community.
We live right across the street from the park, which is full of green trees and grass. Such a change from our last home.  It's in a gated community, so it is safe and well kept. The neighborhood is so young and friendly. It is exactly what we needed and wanted. How grateful I am for answered prayers.
 Moving in...

we love having our own pool to play in, especially during the hot months!
We packed and moved in 2 days. Jake and I did it ourself. We moved everything....I wish we could of had a video of the two of us moving our king size (300 lbs) mattress up the stairs. It was comical.
We can say we can do it, but will probably not do it again! HAHA!
We were planning on moving over time, but Jake woke up the Saturday before Easter and said, lets get a truck and move today! OK! and we did! :)

The next morning was Easter and we had a our traditional Eggs on Toast and baskets. I guess I didn't take any pictures of the baskets and egg hunt. It was a very different Easter, trying to unpack, and get moved in, and we were sooooo exhausted. Next year will be better.

Macy is joining us at the table now.
Here are some pictures of the house. We still have so much to do. I am slowly but surely getting stuff organized, decorated and moved in. It's a project!

Kaiden's room and play room.

He has this awesome playroom off his room. It's been so fun!

His room is so large....its as big as a master bedroom! He loves it!
 The girls room.

I made the duvet and window treatments. The white cover over the window helps with the heat. They have West facing windows.

The girls play and dress up room. I can't wait to decorate this. My mind is turning a hundred miles a minute with ideas.

Kids bathroom.

 It's HOT!
Thank goodness for our pool. We have been out every day since we moved here. I am actually out by the pool now blogging!

Maggie likes it the most!
This is the park right outside our front door, one of the kids took this picture. We spend a lot of time out here riding bikes, and there is another big park a 2 minute walk from our house. We love it here!
Playing at the park with the kids. Maggie and Kaiden were playing with my camera.

Bad pic of me, but the house right behind me is our home...literally right across from the park. Its awesome.

Macy loves to sit by the pool with me, while Kaid and Mags plays. It's too cold for us! :)
Maggie enjoying her dress up room.
 Macy is finally walking!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful sunrise on my way to early morning Barre Class.
Just like the rest of the kids, Macy doesn't like ME to feed her. See what happens when Daddy isn't home.
She does like to feed herself....
yup, in a matter of seconds she went from THAT sweet little muffin eating gal, to THIS little marker eating gal...at least she was enjoying it!

Well, its Spring and with Spring comes new life. I wanted to do something fun, so i ordered lady bugs larvae to watch grow into real adult lady bugs. It's been a really fun daily thing for us.

Speaking of Spring, I went to water my dead plants (the heat wave did them in) and found a sweet little surprise, 5 little bird eggs. We watch them each day. Welcome Spring!

We have a crazy busy next 8 weeks of visitors and traveling. CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!!
Hope you all have a wonderful Spring!
