{Halloween night Scotty drove to AZ to come stay for a few days while he was looking at some schools down here. He got to our home just a few hours after we got home from California. We had a lot of fun with Scotty. My kids are in love with Scotty-DOO. He is such a great Uncle. He was planning on leaving Wednesday afternoon, but decided he would stay one more night and leave the next morning. I think NOW he wishes he stuck to that plan! ha ha! Wednesday night, while I was making dinner Scotty calls me and says, 'um, I think my leg needs to be looked at. It hurts really bad!' To make a long story short, Scotty broke his ankle good in a scooter crash. He showed up at my door and his ankle was HUGE! We then loaded the kids in the car and spent the next couple hours at an Urgent Care. He was sent home medicated, in a boot and crutches. It is his right ankle and the Dr. said he cannot drive for at least 2 weeks. So, with lots of calls to my parents, and different options being thrown around my parents decided they needed to come get him and the car. LUCKY FOR US= POOR SCOTTY! Scotty spent the next several days on the couch, with his foot elevated watching movies and being annoyed by the kids. I felt so bad for him. It turned out to be great for us, we got Scotty for a whole week and my parents for the weekend. Thanks for taking one for the team Scott}

{We were so excited when my Mom and Dad decided they HAD to fly down to drive Scotty home. I really enjoy any little excuse to see them!!! It was a quick, not planned trip, but man-o-man it was so fun to have them here. I miss them so badly. My kids were on cloud 9 with Grandpa and Grandma, and of course all the fun "surprises" they brought.(Thanks for breaking your ankle Scotty! :)) They came in Friday afternoon, we went to lunch and then hung out at our house for a bit. That night we went to dinner. Saturday we headed to the Arizona State Fair (I do not recommend it, Utah's is better even though it is smaller), we had a good time, but when it was time to go--it was time to go. Kaiden was in heaven in the Dinosaur life size museum--that was the best part! We played on the rides and then called it good. We pushed poor Scotty in a wheel chair-I felt so bad for him! We then hit Last Chance, where my mom struck a gold's mine! Then we headed to the best Mexican Restaurant, Tia Rosas. It was yummy food and even better company. We then headed home and stayed up way too late. Sunday morning my parents headed to an 8:30 AM church, (our ward doesn't meet until 1:30 PM, then they loaded up and headed home--with a long drive ahead of them. I was so happy to have them here, so sad to see them go. We had such a great time, and can't wait to see them again in 2 weeks when they come out again for Thanksgiving!}
