All about Kaid.

Kaiden is a KINDERGARTENER! And an ALL DAY one at that. Here in Arizona they only do ALL DAY KINDERGARTEN. I have to say I miss him so much during the day. He loves it though. It has been the right decision to put him in this year!

Kaid's first day of school.
He goes to a Charter Performing Arts School. He wears uniforms and has viloin lessons, dance lessons and Suzuki lesson built into his day. It's been really fun to see him do some refined things, and then he comes home and is BOY-BOY-BOY! We feel like this is a good balance. We really are pleased with the school. I just miss my little boy from 8:30 to 3:30 everyday!

We took some pictures of him the first week of school and for his birthday invites/announcements. Here are my favorites...I have a lot of them! He is just such a cute boy! :)

Kaiden has taken to a camera as well. Here are some photos I found on my camera that he took. He has a good eye! :)

The first week of school started on August 8th, so Kaiden spent the first 4 days as a 4 year old in Kindergarten.

August 11 was his big day he turned 5!

He woke up and got ready for school and then we had him open one present.

I went into his class and brought Kaids favorite treat, donuts! It was fun to see him in class with all his friends. He loves it there, Maggie was in heaven too!

Kaiden had early out that day, so he had to patiently wait until Daddy got home from work to celebrate! Daddy got home around 5:00 and we had a party! He opened presents, then we headed to Kaiden's favorite place for dinner and games.

He of course got LOTS and LOTS of Dinosaur stuff! He was in heaven! (Thanks for all the gifts.)

PETER PIPER PIZZA IS THE PIZZA PEOPLE PICK!
We had such a wonderful time. We played and played and played! It was one of our funniest nights out as a family in a long while. Glad Kaid pick it! (we didn't have a friend party because of my surgery)

At about 9 PM we headed home for cake. (I know, so late, but we were having so much fun gaming!)

Granny and Papa gave Kaiden a cardboard house with paints to paint it anyway they want!  It is a lot of fun, the kids are still coloring it and playing with it.

We found that out the hard way that the paint is not really clothing friendly, so we paint in our undies...clothing is over rated in AZ during the Summer months anyway! :)
isn't it purrrr-deeeee?

One thing is for sure, we LOVE OUR KD!
