{Quick Update and Random stuff}

Here is a brief update on everyone: Jake: was just called to be the new Gospel Doctrine Teacher. He will do such a great job. He is a fabulous teacher. He is excited so have a change--YM's for the past 6 years have been great...but teaching is his real passion!! He is still liking his job here in Arizona, he has fallen in love with Arizona actually! He is also very busy running NO LOSS PRODUCTS. He is one busy guy, but is so good at making time for me and the kids. Especially on our Saturday Adventure Days, which we have been a bit lame lately...but we are starting it up this week again. :) Jana: I have been busy getting everything ready for Christmas and this little "Miss" to come. We accidentally left a bunch of things behind in my in-laws 'dungeon' including our Christmas tree and baby crib and mattress. OOOPS! So, we bought our Christmas tree this year, and bought a new crib and mattress. Expenses we were not really expecting. Man-O-Man it's been an expensive last month!! But such is life! :) {416 Tums and counting} Pregnancy is going well. I am now 34 weeks and huge, ready to have this little thing. I am very swollen this pregnancy and have gotten the biggest I have ever been in pregnancy. (A lot has to due with my cravings and lack of exercise I am sure) I have awful 24 hour heartburn. My skin is itchy, but I don't suffer from hives anymore. I just hope and pray it stays that way. My sciatic nerve has been miserable this pregnancy. By evening time I can barely walk. It has been miserable-- I have found very little relief from that--even laying down hurts. Sleep...what is sleep again? :) Tired... pregnancy has completely ZAPPED my energy! This pregnancy has been a big challenge to me and not so much fun this time around. We were planning on taking the kids to Disneyland in a week or so, but because of all the extra expenses this last month we have had and my sciatic nerve acting up, I think we might pass on it this year. I am heart broken along with my kids, maybe if I am feeling well and skip a few meals between now and then we will go. :) :) I put up the crib this week and got just about everything ready for the "Miss". Christmas is DONE and DONE. I even have EVERYTHING wrapped and shipped. Now it is time to sit back and enjoy the Holidays with my hubby and kids...yay! Kaiden: Kaid has been in the Pre K (Kindergarten) class this year, but since we are holding him back and not sending him to Kindergarten this next fall his teacher suggested we put him in the Preschool class and have him do the Pre K class next year. This last week we switched him. He is doing a lot better in this class actually, and I think he enjoys the kids in the preschool class a lot more. It is also at 9 AM instead of Noon, and only 2 days a week instead of 3 days, which is a lot better for me, especially after the baby is here. He is learning so much. i can't believe what a little grown up he is becoming. He has his Preschool Christmas Program in 2 weeks. He is super excited about it. Maggie: She is my little energetic sweetheart. She is excited for baby 'sqwishy-sqwishy' to get here. She has been a big help to me lately and has become one of my best friends. I really enjoy her. I can't believe what a big girl she has become lately. Jake and I have been reading a new parenting book together. I was on a search to try to keep me sane, especially after the baby is born. I searched high and low and came across this book. We LOVE it so much. We highly recommend this book!!!! It has helped us change our parenting style. I am constantly telling Jake that "I don't want to be this kind of Mother" meaning, stressed, tired, high strung, constantly loosing my temper etc... He feels the same way about himself. Anyway, this book has helped both of us so much. Our kids, I would say are already pretty well behaved,even before this new intervention; but now the temperament and feeling in our home are so much better. Jake and I are so much more relaxed, less stressed and slow to anger. I am not a YELLER ANYMORE!! :) This book has been such a blessing to me. Our kids finally have some respect for me...yay!!! So this has been a huge new way of life for all 4 of us--a better way of life! Our bathroom is finally put back together, and I finally feel like our house is put together and organized (for being a rental). We feel very much at home here. {I didn't decorate much this year, due to not wanting to put it away with a new baby, but here is what we have done}
