This weeks happenings!
{Kaid brought tears to my eyes!}
Here is a sweet story about our sweet Kaiden. Yesterday we headed to a really awesome park, called Tumbleweed Park (my pictures didn't turn out...sad!) in Chandler with some good friends and their kids. While we were there all the kids went over and were playing on a big play tractor. They were having a great time. Connie (one of my good friends) then noticed that a Boy, about 4-5 years old was pushing and bullying all the kids. She walked over there and helped them get into another play car to avoid this rude little boy. Kaiden stayed behind with this boy. Connie returned and explained the situation and said that Kaiden was sweet and was protecting the kids and he was telling the rude Boy to share and be nice. She thought it was cute. I kept on watching Kaiden and this other Boy, after several minutes I walked over there to make sure things were OK. Kaiden saw me walking over to them and yelled out to me
"MOM!! I am talking nice to this Boy" I responded once I got to them "Oh, good! What nice things are you telling this Boy?"
Kaiden said to me "I tell him about Jesus!",
"Really?" I said, "What about Jesus?".
"I tell him Jesus, lives up there in Heaven," as he pointed to the sky, "and Jesus is sad when we aren't nice and don't share with everyone. Jesus loves all kids and wants us to be nice to everyone!"
My jaw dropped and my eyes teared up. Our little 4 yr old boy was baring his simple testimony to this other little boy--he was sharing the Gospel and being such a good example. I was so proud and my heart was over flowing. I am so grateful for the Gospel and these two, almost three little children I have. How blessed I am!!!
{SANTA'S in town!! Our local recreation center had Santa come visit. They took picture of the kids and gave the them a goodie bag full of fun Christmas trinkets. They LOVED Santa!}
{After we saw Santa, we went to the craft room and made some Christmas crafts. They have such great programs and free things to do in Arizona! I love it! We then headed outside and played at the park. We have had great weather in the low 80's this week and next week!}
{Our little Mags is quite the character. We have a lot of fun with her, and she keeps us laughing. For those of you who know Mags this is pretty typical of her- and of my every day life! For those of you who don't know Maggie well, I feel so sad, she is so fun, silly, crazy and in her own world. Everyone needs a Maggie! So, the other day she told me she had to "do sumthin". A few minutes later I walked into the kids bathroom and this is what I found. She was brushing her hair...with a paint brush! "wushing my hair Mom, with dust wader! I wook pretty!" It was so funny. After she was DONE washing/brushing, her hair with JUST WATER she wanted me to blow dry it. The rest of the day she was so proud of herself for washing/brushing her hair "all by myself!"}
{The other night I bathed the kids and left Jake and the kids so I could go on a walk. When I returned this is what I found--the kids outside on a hunt for a Haunted House. It was so silly! The funny things they come up with!}
{I have had several people ask me to post pictures of my belly. I am never really great at taking pregnant belly pictures with any of my pregnancies...but here you go.
35+ weeks.
I went to the Dr. this week and our goal is to keep her in until after Christmas. She has already dropped and I have started to thin, lots of contractions--Christmas Baby?!?!}

ReplyDeletesecond..love maggie! love how she washed her hair. i cannot believe how much she looks like you! seriously, you two are identical when you were a kid. I wonder if I have a girl, if she'll look like me..which mean she'll look like mags! maybe they'll be 'twin' cousins!
I love the haunted house hunt!! I laughed when I saw maggie with her fairy wings on.
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS IN LIKE 6 WEEKS!! xoxo
